the Invitation (邀请)

Very Beautiful Poem from a friend..... Enjoyed! It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for. and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love,  for your dream, for the adventure of being alive It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow. if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain~ I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own without moving to hide it or fade it, or fix it~ I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own. if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, to remember the limitations of being human. It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself. if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul.  if you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy. I want to know if you can see beauty even when it's not pretty, every day~ and if you can source your own life from its presence. I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine. and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon~  “Yes!” It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up. after the night of grief and despair. weary and bruised to the bone. and do what needs to be done to feed the children. It doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back. It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you, from the inside, when all else falls away, I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments. 我对你靠何为生不感兴趣 我只想知道你为何疼痛 我只想知道你是否敢于梦想达到你心中的追求 我对你多大年纪不感兴趣 我只想知道你是否愿意像个傻瓜一样冒险寻找爱、 寻找梦想和寻找生命的旅程。 我对你是否是什么星座不感兴趣 我只想知道你是否被你自己的悲痛所感动，被生命的辜负所打开； 或者变得束手无策，因为对更多的恐惧而关闭自己。 我只想知道你是否能处理你自己的痛苦而不是藏起来，淡下来或者处理它。 我只想知道你是否可以感受与我的和你自己的喜悦， 你可以疯狂地跳舞，让这种极度的喜悦充满你的手指和脚趾间， 而不用警告我们要小心，要现实些，记得人类的限制。 我对你是否告诉我实话不感兴趣。 我只想知道你是否可以让别人失望而对自己真实； 你是否可以忍受背叛的控告而不背叛你自己的灵魂； 你是否可以背信弃义然后值得信赖。 我只想知道每天你是否可以从不美的事物中看到美丽； 从生活本身找到自己。 我只想知道你是否可以活在你的我的失败中， 仍旧站在湖边对着满月的银光大喊：“是的！” 我对你住在哪里，挣多少钱不感兴趣。 我只想知道在忧伤、绝望、疲倦、瘀伤入骨的夜晚你是否能站起来， 做需要做的事情去喂饱孩子。 我对你认识谁，你怎么到这里的不感兴趣 我只想知道你是否可以和我站在火里而不退缩。 我对在哪里学习，学了什么及和谁学习都不感兴趣 我只想知道当所有其他的都消失了，在内心什么支持着你， 我只想知道你是否可以独处， 是否真的在这个空虚的时刻喜欢你的这个伙伴。
